From and on October 1, 2013, Vietnamese citizens and their family members in difficulty of finance to resolve problems abroad shall be supported with non-returning allowances for transportation, foods, temporary accommodation, and other necessities. The act is funded by Fund for suporting and protecting Vietnamese and entities abroad governed by Circular No. 92/2-13/TT-BTC. The new regulation expands the scope of supporting citizens abroad who may be offered extra expenses of transportation back to Vietnam if approved by Minister of Foreign Affairs.Reported by Thanh Hong – Translated by Vi Bao
