To boost up prevention of dengue and HFMD

On implementing the official telefax of Ministry of Health on boosting up prevention of dengue and Hand-foot-mouth disease (HFMD), Binh Duong Provincial People’s Committee has directed its grassroots in districts, towns, and Thu Dau Mot city to coordinate with political, socio-political organizations, and the public to implement synchronized measures for prevention of dengue and HFMD in the localities, particularly localities of high risks of outbreaks. Mosquito termination chemicals should be fully administered in area of possible outbreaks by designation of Department of Health. The communities are called upon practicing hygiene measures to prevent HFMD in children.

Department of Health shall boost up supervision of possible outbreaks to control the situations by fully prepared medicines, materials and equipment to service all-situation incidents. Department of Health shall organize inter-sector inspection teams to check up and support the disease outbreak prevention. Department of Information and Communication directs the mass media organizations to coordinate with medical sector in stronger dissemination of prevention measures for dengue and HFMD across educational organizations, particularly at kindergartens and preschools.
