In the morning of January 06, the Binh Duong Association of Consumer Right Protection held a summing-up meeting to review its operation in 2011 and launch plans for 2012.
By year’s end, the association has established 7 sub-divisions with 3,439 members while propaganda has been maintained to improve awareness of rights and obligations of consumers. Besides, the association connects consumers with involved agencies to resolve appeals of low quality goods and services.
Of 28 letters of appeal received, the association has faciliated to resolve 70% of the cases. For 2012, the operation quality of the association will be enhanced in terms of inspection and communication to educate public people with rights and obligations of consumers.
