To focus on disbursing the rental support package for workers

On August 17, Mr. Pham Van Tuyen, Deputy Director of the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, said that the district-level localities have received dossiers of rental support for workers until the end of August 15 in accordance with Decision 08 of the Prime Minister.

Localities are focusing on reviewing applications to disburse money to support rental for workers

Currently, localities in the province are classifying objects to continue checking and approving their dossiers. By August 17, localities in the province had only disbursed VND 91 billion to support about 175,000 laborers. The disbursement is slower than expected because the funds have not been fully transferred to the districts, towns and cities.

It is expected that in the next 2 days, when the procedures are completed, the money will be transferred to the localities to disburse support for workers. By the end of August 31, the localities will close the approval and disbursement of this support package.
