On December 15, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Do Thang Hai, deputy head of the Central campaign steering committee of the Vietnamese people give priority to using Vietnamese goods, had a meeting with Binh Duong provincial Steering Committee of the campaign. Nguyen Van Loc, Member of Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of Provincial Party Mass Mobilization Board, Chairman of Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, Head of the Provincial Steering Committee, received the delegation.

At the meeting, the delegation listened to difficulties and noted recommendations of the province in order to make solutions further promoting the campaign in the coming time. Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Do Thang Hai praised the province's good results; also emphasized some issues, like: it is necessary to exploit strengths of the province, create connections between Vietnamese enterprises and FDI enterprises; develop mechanisms and policies to support capital for enterprises to improve technology; effectively take advantage of the campaign to encourage enterprises to participate in the global distribution system implemented by the Ministry of Industry and Trade...

Earlier, in the morning of the same day, the delegation also visited Aeon supermarket system. The delegation highly appreciated solutions implemented by this organization to promote Vietnamese product shopping habits.

Currently, 80% products in this supermarket chain are domestic products. Aeon actively supports the consumption of agricultural products, with 90% fresh products are Vietnamese products. The delegation said that the ministry will rewards units with many contributions to the campaign "Vietnamese people give priority to using Vietnamese goods", including Aeon.

The delegation also worked with Binh Duong Provincial Association of Electro-Mechanics, recognized efforts of enterprises to maintain stable production business activities in the green direction, take technology as the main factor, develop the reputation of Vietnamese brands, ensure good living standards for workers. In addition, the delegation received the association's recommendations and wished to create more opportunities for Vietnamese goods to compete fairly and equally with imported goods in public investment projects.
