Early July 30, Binh Duong Branch of State Bank of Vietnam held its conference on gold transaction management with attendance of representatives of departments, related sectors and enterprises in the province. At the conference, officers of Office of Research and General Affairs of Binh Duong Branch of State Bank of Vietnam presented major changes in management of gold transactions as well as duties and obligations of related organizations and individuals in implementing Decree No. 24 and Circular No. 16.Opinions and inquiries have emerged at the conference regarding the regulations on gold transactions, procedures and process of application for certification of gold production as jewelries and artistic items, etc.The officers, then, elaborated the inquiries as raised by businesses.Decree No. 24/2012/ND-CP is considered as an effective measures to tighten management of gold market.
