Training course on food safety-hygiene held in Phu Giao

*TDM city responds to 2016 Action Month for Food Safety-Hygiene

On April 13, Phu Giao district’s Division of Economics in collaboration with provincial Sub-department of Agricultural – Forestry – Fishery Quality Management held a training course on food safety and hygiene for the local facilities operating in the agricultural, forestry  and fishery field.

The training course aimed to disseminate the Law on Food Safety and regulations on agricultural, forestry and fishery quality management such as principles on food safety management, banned actions in food processing, conditions to ensure food safety…

*The same day, TDM city’s People’s Committee forwarded a conference to implement the 2016 Action Month for Food Safety and Hygiene.

Along with speeding up dissemination of information about food safety and hygiene, the city will conduct more inspections at facilities producing, processing and trading vegetables, meat and their products in order to opportunely discover and handles violations, ensuring food safety and hygiene.
