Tree-planting festival launched in Binh Duong
Early May 18, Mai Hung Dung, Vice-Chairman of provincial People’s Committee attended a ceremony to launch the 2016 tree-planting festival themed “Forever Grateful to President Ho Chi Minh” in Dau Tieng district’s Thanh An commune on the occasion of the 126th anniversary of his birthday (May 19, 1890-May 19, 2016).

Participants planted 300 trees on one hectare of land at Thanh An commune’s administration center, actively contributing to protecting the environment and improving the quality of locals’ life.
It is known that the annual tree-planting festival has become one of fine customs of people in the province, greatly contributing to protecting the environment and promoting the local sustainable socio-economic development.
