Vietnam Lawyers' Association summarizes works in 2021

On Dec 28, in Hanoi, Vietnam. Lawyers Association held a video conference to summarize works in 2021 and set out its tasks in 2022. Attending the conference were Nguyen Van Quyen, Party Secretary of the association, Chairman of Vietnam Lawyers Association; Tran Cong Phan, Deputy Party Secretary, Vice Chairman, General Secretary of Vietnam Lawyers Association. At Binh Duong endpoint, Ngo Thi Lien, Chairwoman of the Provincial Lawyers Association, chaired the conference.

The conference approved summarizing reports on works of the association in 2021 and direction, tasks for 2022; report summarizing the emulation and commendation movements in 2021 and launching emulation movement in 2022.

In 2021, most provinces and cities facing difficulties due to the prolonged and complicated Covid-19 pandemic, Lawyers Associations nationwide actively and flexibly applied various forms of emulation movement to adapt to the disease situation; emulation and commendation work of lawyers' associations at all levels continued to be maintained and had good changes.

The study, dissemination and implementation of Party guidelines, State laws, especially the organization and implementation of the 13th Party Resolution; the studying and following Ho Chi Minh's thought, morality and lifestyle continued to be enhanced. The Central Lawyers Association and its branches promptly adapted to the pandemic situation and had solutions to perform tasks assigned in 2021...
