Over Tet holiday, localities with many immigrant workers staying for Tet held significant spring programs. The move helped workers enjoying Tet away home feel warm on holiday.

Spring festive nights for immigrant workers during Tet holiday showed a great significance on spirit. Nguyen Thi Ca from An Giang Mekong Province working for Princemate Ltd. in Tan Uyen district, said “I’ve worked at Binh Duong for one year. Living away home and a modest income, I was forced to enjoy Tet away home. Receiving Tet gift from Nam Tan Uyen IP’s leaders, I was very happy”. Chinh Nghia from Soc Trang province, said “the spring festive night was very joyful and significant for immigrant workers. Tet gifts from the IP’s leaders seemed to be driving force for us”.

Pham Quoc Nhan, secretary of Nam Tan Uyen Industrial Park JSC’s youth union, said “on Tet holiday, the youth union often holds music shows for immigrant workers. This move shows the company’s attention to needy workers”. Nguyen Kim Phung, vice secretary of Uyen Hung township youth union, said “Though the number of Tet gifts is limited, the gifts bring joy for young workers”.

Activities for immigrant workers on Tet holiday helped bring a warm spring for them.
