Thanh Phuoc Port JSC started a construction of  Thanh Phuoc Port at Tan Uyen district’s Thanh Phuoc commune on April 22. Thanh Phuoc Port JSC is established by 3 shareholders of Biconsi Co., South Tan Uyen Industrial Park JSC and Unigroup.

The VND1,450bil and 63ha construction includes 16 wharves that can receive barges and ships with the tonnage of 1,000-2,000 tons. The int’l standard port includes two phases for the completion of 2018.

At the ground-breaking ceremony, Le Thanh Cung, vice chairman of the provincial People’s Committee stressed that this is a significant work for the district and neighboring communes, luring investors, impacting on the local modernization and industrialization.
