In recent time, Youth club of Hung Dinh Ward, Thuan An Town has been an ideal place for local Youth Union activities. The club has become a favorite destination for young persons to meet and exchange, contributing to aggregating Youth Union’s members, young persons in residential areas.

While many Union branches were in need of meeting places, in Sep 2014, with the approval from Hung Dinh Ward People's Committee, ward Youth Union mobilized successfully nearly 200 million VND to renovate the club location to a café and a place for the union to organize meetings conveniently. The club comprises 14 members, has weekly meetings, and is operated under the principles of voluntariness, autonomy, financially self-sustaining.
Hung Dinh Ward Youth Club was established with the aim to support young people in legal counseling, legal aid; provide youth bookshelves serving the youth’s referring of academic books, books of learning and following Ho Chi Minh’s moral example, economic, social, cultural books; organize playgrounds at weekends; open music, dancing, skill training classes for youngsters, serve drinks, and serve conferences of agencies, unions in the ward...
Hung Dinh Ward Union Secretary Nguyen Thi To Quyen said, since its establishment, the union has satisfied the need for youth’s playground. In addition, the club holds seminars to review the Party’s traditions; life skills and major holidays; year-end’s get-togethers; meetings of union branches, clubs in the ward. In the coming time, the club will organize skill contests, birthdays, and seminars to enhance tradition education for union members.
However, according to Ms. Quyen, aggregating young persons for union activities is just the beginning. It is the most important part to retain, attract the youth come voluntarily to Youth Unions is. In fact, the youth’s needs and aspirations are heightening, while union activities are still not diverse in content and form. On the other hand, funds for these activities are limited. Nevertheless, the introduction of the Youth Club has met partially the youth’s needs for meeting, recreation, organizing union activities, developing members, union branches in the ward.
