External communication contribute to socio-economic development

The year 2018 is a pivotal year for the implementation of the 10^th Provincial Party Resolution, a year with many important tasks and the organization of large international events. Under the leadership of Provincial Party Committee, efforts of the government at all levels, sectors, business community and the people, the socio-economic situation, national defense and security of the province continued to have many good changes and achieved comprehensive results in all fields. In which, external communication was carried out synchronously and effectively, contributing to facilitating the general development of the province.

Synchronous implementation

In addition to the propagation of national sea and islands, external communication in 2018 was identified as an important regular task. Provincial Party Standing Committee directed, enhanced external relations, focused on thoroughly raising awareness of all levels, sectors, localities and press agencies about the significance of external communication work of in the cause of national construction and defense in the new situation.

All governmental levels and localities in the province recognized the role and importance of this task, actively implemented, improved operational efficiency, contributed to external relations, advertising and introduction to attract investments, serve socio-economic growth, and protect the province's defense and security. External communication was carried out in various forms, rich content, and integrated into activities such as: talks, international conferences, meetings, celebrations, cultural and art exchanging, sports, charity...

Thanks to careful preparation and synchronous implementation, external relations brought about positive changes, received active responses from majority people in and outside the province, creating a widespread strength among the community. Government and mass media agencies in the province constantly improved the quality and effectiveness of external affairs.

Besides, through weekly propagation, Provincial Party Committee for Propagation and Education directed mass media agencies towards essential contents, strengthening the linkage between external and domestic communication, bringing Binh Duong promotional information to abroad accurately, promptly, vividly and appropriately.

To open up cooperation opportunities

In 2018, the province's socio-economic, defense and security situation continued to have many good changes and achieved quite comprehensive results in all fields. This was the efforts of all levels, sectors, business communities and people, including the contribution of foreign exchange activities in promoting the image as well as the open investment environment of the province.

Through meetings with domestic and foreign delegations visiting and learning about socio-economic situation, seek investment opportunities in Binh Duong, provincial leaders and governmental bodies informed about socio-economic development, policies, solutions, and determination of the province to create an increasingly open and attractive investment environment as well as construct Binh Duong Smart City. Therefore, it attracted the attention of international delegations to researching cooperation projects, contributing to heightening effectiveness of the promotion of Binh Duong province as a dynamic, creative and reliable investment destination.

In particular, in 2018, Binh Duong province hosted successfully the 11th WTA Conference, Horasis 2018 with the participation of nearly 2,000 delegates, including hundreds of international guests from 60 countries and territories around the world. The organization of international activities in 2018 was a favorable opportunity for the province to strengthen foreign affairs, trade promotion, foreign investment cooperation; create chances for enterprises in the province to introduce products, exchange information, sign cooperation agreements, and expand production.

External relations in other aspects, like culture - society, national defense - security, public relations... contributed to the unanimity in Party members, officials and people in the province, maintaining political stability, firmly defending national sovereignty and territorial integrity, enhancing the position of our country in the region and the world. At the same time, external communication has contributed to introduction of achievements in the renovation process, advertising images, people and culture in Vietnam in general and Binh Duong in particular, thereby facilitating socio-economic growth of the province.
