10 wheelchairs, 450 Tet gifts donated to disadvantaged people

On the afternoon of January 9, provincial Sponsoring Association for Disabled People, Orphans and Poor Patients in collaboration with provincial Women Entrepreneurs Association held a ceremony to give Tet gifts for the local orphans, people with disabilities and poor families.

The event was attended by Nguyen Van Loc, member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of provincial Party Committee’s Mass Mobilization Commission, Chairman of provincial Fatherland Front Committee; Nguyen Loc Ha, member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice-Chairman of provincial People's Committee; Nguyen Truong Nhat Phuong, Vice-Chairwoman of provincial People's Council.

Provincial Sponsoring Association for Disabled People, Orphans and Poor Patients has mobilized organizations and individuals to support 400 Tet gifts for disadvantaged people. It is known that each gift includes VND 1 million in cash, necessities worth VND 450,000.

At the event, provincial Sponsoring Association for Disabled People, Orphans and Poor Patients presented 10 wheelchairs to children and disabled people, and 50 gifts to Agent Orange victims.
