2014 Law on Environmental Protection launched
In the morning of April 3, a conference on launching the 2014 Law on Environmental Protection took place at the provincial party committee hall. Accordingly, the 2014 Law on Environmental Protection was ratified by the 13rd National Assembly on June 23, 2014 and has been enacted since Jan. 1 2015. This law is replaced the 2005 Law on Environmental Protection.
Addressing the conference, Tran Van Nam, chairman of the provincial People’s Committee stressed that the provincial administration always focuses on developing economy in attachment to sustainably environmental protection.
Therefore, functional agencies will in the coming time spur inspection and settlement of violations of the law on environmental protection as well as hold dissemination classes on the 2014 Law on Environmental Protection for cadres, public servants and people.
