211 establishments sanctioned for violations of fire prevention and fighting

To implement the peak of checking, inspection, rectification, and strict handling of business establishments subject to security and order conditions in the province, from September 9 to 17, police and local administrations in the province inspected 486 establishments, detected, and sanctioned 211 establishments violating fire prevention and fighting, rescue and other regulations, and collected a total penalty of nearly VND2.9 billion.

Among these, Di An City, Tan Uyen Town, and Ben Cat Town had 35 establishments sanctioned for administrative violations; Thu Dau Mot City and Thuan An City had 33 sanctioned establishments; the remaining localities had from 3 to 13 establishments incurring penalties. The authorities also resolutely suspended business operations of 38 establishments that did not comply with regulations on fire prevention and fighting.

Currently, five localities have completed the inspection of business establishments subject to security and order conditions, namely: Bau Bang, Phu Giao, Dau Tieng, North Tan Uyen Districts, and Di An City. In addition to the inspection, the police also carried out propagation and encouraged business establishments to well comply with the law, especially in fire prevention firefighting and rescue work.
