31.5 square meters per capital – the average housing area of the province in 2021-2025

Provincial People’s Committee has just approved the amended program of housing development of the province until 2020 with orientation for 2030.

Accordingly, in 2021-2025, the provincial authority targets to the average housing area of 32.5 square meters per capita against the minimum housing area of 10 square meters per capita. Until 2030, the provincial authority aims for resolution of housing needs among social subjects such as low-income workers, high quality housing and apartments in urban areas and upgrades of rural housing facilities to save energy and protect the environment.

According to Department of Construction, the housing development targets of the province in 2021-2025 shall be the continual improvements of housing to meet the demands of all groups of residents, especially the socially privileged. The quality improvement includes greener, cleaner and more modern housing with ensured environment protection in a bid to promote socio-economic development of the province into a smart urban area.
