9th Congress of Binh Duong provincial Women Union kicked off

the provincial party committee vice secretary Vu Minh Sang at 9th Congress of Binh Duong provincial Women Union.

Over the past 5 years, local women movements have developed and affirmed their maturity and contribution to local socio-economic development. The union has paid attention to capacity and knowledge improvement for women. In addition, supportive movements for poor women have reached good results.

The union at all levels has disbursed over VND484bil to offer loans for needy sisters, introduced jobs for about 4,000 women/year.

In the coming term, the union will focus on training and improving quality of women, expanding models of gathering women and encouraging members to excel urban civilized lifestyle and new rural building…

Addressing the congress, Vu Minh Sang highly valued results done by the union and asked the union at all levels to improve awareness on gender equality, diversify gathering models and so on.
