Dieu Hoa hamlet is home to 324 women, 286 of whom are the local women union’s members. It is not easy to gather rural sisters when many of them must take care of their families and farming work. However, the hamlet women union is always a unit leading in local movements. As a leader, Thuy always enthusiastically and eagerly debate and exchange to turn people’s ideas into practical activities.

Until now, Thuy has joined in activities for women for over 10 years. Like local women, despite her busy housework, she has well completed the union’s activities. She has found out useful models for members. In addition, she has learnt clearly about every member’s circumstance to help them approach loans. As a result, as many as 170 households have enjoyed loans worth hundreds of millions of VND.

Thuy shared “All activities should be discussed with local sisters to finalize ideas set out”. At the age of 46, Thuy’s enthusiasm makes sisters attach to the union’s activities.
