Achievements from a right way

Upholding the country’s tradition, after 36 years of liberation and especially after local re-establishment, Binh Duong has made progresses on socio-economic development. Under the leadership of the provincial party committee, hi-unity from authority and people, Binh Duong has become one of rapid and stable developing provinces.

Breakthroughs from industry

With a policy of spreading red carpet to welcome investors, Binh Duong has rapidly become one of the most dynamic provinces in the Southern key economic zone. The locality now has 28 industrial parks (IP) with the total area of nearly 9,000ha from one IP in 1994.

As of the end of 2010, 24 IPs in the locality put into operation with over 1,200 businesses. In addition, the province has 9 industrial compounds with about 650ha. At present, the province has added and adjusted planning for IPs.

The whole province now lures 2,027 foreign projects, capitalized at over US$13bil. This shows that the locality is an attractive destination for investors.

Simple procedures

Along with investment in infrastructure facility, Binh Duong has focused on administration reform to lure more investors. The local administration often steers all level agencies to facilitate investors and people’s business and production. Through raking on competition capacity, Binh Duong is always in the highest positions.  

Therefore, simple procedures minimize investors’ expense and time as well as create a transparent investment climate to lure more sources for local socio-economic development. 

Challenges remain ahead but with the done achievements, the province will strive for a better future.
