* Di An to present gifts to policies beneficiaries

A delegation of the Army Corps No.4, Dau Tieng One-Member Rubber Co.Ltd. and the HCM City Department of Health yesterday visited, provided free medical check-ups, medicine and gifts for over 600 Vietnamese heroic mothers, privileged and poor families in Giong Trom district in the Mekong Delta province of Ben Tre.

It is known that this is one of the activities to pay tribute to those who made contributions to the war of resistance against the US on the 35th anniversary of Southern Liberation and National Reunification. The delegation’s activities will last until April 22 with a total expense of nearly VND100mln.

*In April, Di An district will also visit and present gifts worth VND1mln each to war invalids, families of Vietnamese heroic mothers, revolutionary veterans and heroes in the renewal period of the country…
