Association of Youths of Foster Electricity Company takes care of factory workers’ spiritual life

For the past time, Association of Youths of Foster Electricity Company has maintained various clubs and groups to offer healthy and training environment for their factory workers in a bid to improve knowledge, skills, and profession as well as spiritual life.

The establishment of clubs and groups derived from actual demands of the factory workers. Mr. Nguyen Thanh Toan, Chair of Association of Youths of Foster Electricity Company, said: “We have up to 70% of immigrant factory workers, living and working in Binh Duong Province. Most of them have limited qualifications and social communication; thus, they are enjoying spiritual life of lacking. At the establishment of clubs and groups, many activities have been organized including culinary and sports events and festivals of arts, etc. to gather up factory workers of the same hobbies.”

By such approach, for the past time, the association has maintained clubs and groups through various gathering forms and encouragement with regulations and organization structure ensured. On the other hand, the association has made frequent monitoring and supporting endeavors to maintain periodical meetings of the clubs and groups themselves.

Toan said: “We are maintaining radio of Voice of Foster to introduce writings and poems of the club members while encouraging them to communicate with other establishments and the press to publish their works. As for clubs of arts and sports, many exchanging events have been organized. Up to date, the association has established various clubs to offer better spiritual life of their working staffs.”

The organization of such clubs and groups offers healthy and humane conditions to improve spiritual life of the factory workers. The method of Association of Youths of Foster Electricity Company should be taken into consideration for duplication and promotion of association in the stage of industrialization and modernization.
