Beloved spring program 2018 held in Thuan An

On the evening of February 5, Thuan An town held the “Tet sum vay” (Gathering in Tet holiday” program 2018 for alien workers with difficult circumstances under the theme of “Thuan An-Beloved spring” with special art items.

On this occasion, provincial Labor Union offered 530 gifts worth VND500,000 each to the above workers. It is known that the town also gave 256 free bus tickets for alien workers so that they can return home to enjoy Tet with their relatives.

*Early February 6, Thuan An town’s Fatherland Front Committee (FFC) forwarded a conference to review its mobilization task for the local Fund for the Poor in 2017.

The town’s FFC last year raised more than VND4.17billion for the local Fund for the Poor; coordinated with its member organizations to build and upgrade 66 “great unity”, gratitude and charity houses…with a total expense of more than VND3.8billion; considered and supported 2,189 households to more than VND90 billion in loan…

On this occasion, 15 collectives and 7 individuals were awarded the certificates of merit of the town’s People’s Committee Chairman for their excellent achievements in the mobilization task for the local Fund for the Poor.
