Gratefulness – good deed

Over the past days, the provincial leaders of agencies, units and mass bodies and businesses paid gift visits to local contributors on the 66th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs’ Day (July 27). With profound gratefulness to martyrs, war invalids and contributors, the provincial party committee secretary Mai The Trung extended health wishes to heroic mothers, martyrs’ mothers, war invalids and sick soldiers at Tan Uyen district’s Bach Dang commune. He hoped that families of war invalids and martyrs and sick soldiers have continued promoting revolutionary tradition, improving all difficulties, joining positively in social activities and many more.

Also the past days, many delegations of localities and mass bodies, organizations and individuals held many activities for privileged families.

to improve contributors’ material and spiritual living, facilitating contributors’ development in production and business, the provincial administration has widely launched principle of “when drinking water, remember its source” to all units and individuals through socialization program on gratitude repayment.

Specifically, in 2012, the entire province spent VND225.9bil from the Gratitude Repayment Fund to take care of contributors. On the Tet 2013, the province granted gifts and offered free health check-up and medicines for contributors with the total value of over VND58bil. Of this, local businesses, organizations and individuals donated gifts worth over VND248mil to 995 people.

In the first half of this year, businesses offered VND400mil for the provincial department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs to build gratitude houses. Phung Chi Lap from the provincial department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs said that on the 66th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs’ Day, the provincial People’s Committee spent over VND21bil for 21,000 local contributors.

Socialization of gratitude repayment

Implementing the principle of “when drinking water, remember its source”, the provincial party committee and people have over years launched significant deeds for privileged people. With high socialization movements, all level agencies and sectors, units and businesses and people have involved in gratitude repayment. July is the month showing gratitude repayment concretely. Accordingly, many businesses assisted privileged people by granting gifts, saving books, building gratitude houses and many more.

Notably, many businesses have considered gratitude repayment as their tradition. They include Dai Thien Loc JSC in Binh Duong new city, Binh Duong Minerals and Construction JSC in Thuan An town, Sabeco Trade JSC in Thu Dau Mot city, Kim Oanh Real Estate in Ben Cat district and so on. 

Sabeco JSC held on July 27 a gratitude house granting ceremony to 2 privileged households in An Long commune and An Linh commune in Phu Giao district. On the occasion, Sabeco paid gift visits to 6 privileged families at An Linh, An Long and Tan Long commune of Phu Giao district with the total value of VND12mil.

Since 2008, Dai Thien Loc JSC has held gift visits to contributors. In addition, the company annually grants 5-6 gratitude houses to privileged families at Binh Duong, Ba Ria- Vung Tau, Binh Dinh, Hau Giang, Da Nang provinces. On the past War Invalids and Martyrs’ Day, the company granted 10 gifts to war invalids and martyrs’ children.

By the above results, Binh Duong province’s work on gratitude repayment has been socialized and inspired local people’s responsibility for contributors.
