Binh Duong reaches over 1,000 various medals

According to the provincial department of Culture, Sport and Tourism, since 2011 local sport teams have joined in more than 300 international, national and regional tournaments.

As a result, local athletes reached more than 1,000 various medals. Many athletes grabbed high prizes at international, national and regional levels. They include Ly Hoang Nam – tennis player, Le Hoang Duc – Muay athlete, Ho Tan Phat – body-building and more. The mentioned achievements are thanks to the provincial department of Culture, Sport and Tourism’s project of training gifted athletes for the period of 2011-2014 and orientation till 2018 and project of developing Binh Duong high achievement sport till 2015, orientation till 2020.

Until now, the entire province now has 104 coaches, 879 athletes, 191 of whom are young athletes, 472 are gifted ones and among others.
