*Binh Duong and Daejeon city further strengthen friendship, cooperation
From August 8 to 9, a delegation from Binh Duong province, led by Vo Van Minh, Vice Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Chairman of provincial People's Committee, along with leaders of departments, agencies and representatives of several outstanding enterprises, visited and worked in Denmark to enhance cooperation with partners investing in the province. The delegation also learnt about infrastructure, science and technology, and promoted investment-trade in Denmark. Luong Thanh Nghi, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam to the Kingdom of Denmark, participated in the working trip.
The delegation visited and worked with Lego Group, Pandora Group and the Confederation of Danish Industry. During these meetings, the corporations informed the delegation of the progress of their factory construction, expressed great confidence in investment climate of Vietnam in general and Binh Duong Province in particular, committed to bringing the most advanced, modern and green technologies with superior quality while fully adhering to social responsibilities in line with global development trends. Leaders of Binh Duong province assured that they would resolve any problems that arise during the process of implementing projects in the province.
*On this occasion, the delegation also met with Merlin Entertainments and representatives from Legoland Billund.
At the meeting, Becamex IDC and Sun Group introduced models for industrial and tourism development and business ones. Merlin Entertainments and Legoland Billund were impressed with prospects for cooperation and expressed a desire to soon organize a delegation to learn and collaborate with businesses in Binh Duong province in the coming time.
*As part of the trip, the delegation also visited and worked with the Confederation of Danish Industry.
It is known that over the past time, the Confederation of Danish Industry paid visits to Vietnam with the participation of Danish enterprises, many of them have successfully invested and operated in Vietnam. The Confederation of Danish Industry plans to open a Southeast Asia representative office soon and is considering Binh Duong province as a priority destination. Leaders of Binh Duong province also discussed specific measures to enhance the effectiveness of cooperation between the two sides. Mr. Minh affirmed that Binh Duong province will connect with the Confederation of Danish Industry and Danish business community to effectively foster investment, trade and cooperation between the two sides.
*A delegation from Binh Duong province, led by Nguyen Van Loc, Member of provincial Party Standing Committee and Chairman of provincial People's Council has just visited and worked with the Council of Daejeon city in South Korea. Accompanying the delegation were Mai Hung Dung, Member of provincial Party Standing Committee and Permanent Vice Chairman of provincial People's Committee as well as leaders of departments and agencies in the province.
During the reception, Cho Won Hwui, Chairman of Daejeon city’s Council spoke highly of Binh Duong province’s economic development, scientific and technological advancements and foreign investment attraction. He affirmed that Daejeon City's scientific and technological development will further strengthen the close relationship between Binh Duong province and Daejeon city in the future.
Mr. also provided information on Binh Duong province's socio-economic situation over the past time. He spoke highly of the vibrant economic and cultural cooperation between Binh Duong and Daejeon city after nearly 20 years of establishing friendly cooperative relations. He expressed hope that in the near future, the industrial development of Binh Duong province and the scientific and technological advancement of Daejeon city will elevate the cooperative relationship between the two localities to a new level.
