The objectives of the club are to gather workers to help and protect their legislative rights and interests; work harder on educating and mobilizing them to obey the Party and State’s policies. The club is also a place to offer help to needy workers and create a healthy living environment for workers…

Pham Thi Hue, chairman of Tan Dong Hiep communal Women’s Union said: “Compared to the lodging club model, the cultural lodging club model is a new progress both in form and content. Among 7 hamlets of Tan Dong Hiep commune, Chieu Lieu hamlet is selected to carry out the new model. The entire Chieu Lieu hamlet now has 164 out of 400 households taking part in the model”.

 

“The executive board of the local cultural lodging club has also issued a closely working regulation to raise the role of members. With the above success, we will replicate the model in the remaining hamlets of Tan Dong Hiep commune in order to stabilize the lives of immigrant workers in particular and local people in general”, added she.
