The model of legal basket, a great instruction of the provincial party committee and administration has been conducted in some localities, bringing the success for legal propagation work.

The model was launched in 2007 by the center for State legal consultancy under the provincial Judiciary department with the participation of localities of My Phuoc township, Tan Phuoc Khanh township, Thuan An district’s Binh Hoa commune and some communes of Di An district.

The model is mainly conducted at boarding house areas. Twice a month, the center offers legal leaflets relating to family marriage, land, traffic safety, wage, social and health insurance for grassroot units.

The center director Hong Ho Linh Chi, said the model aims at workers because they have less contact with promulgated information source. Leaflets with simple and straightforward contents help them read rapidly. The modality has brought efficiency for legal promulgation. Mrs.Nhat, a lodger in Binh Hoa 2 quarter in Tan Phuoc Khanh township said, the leaflets enrich her legal knowledge.

The model has lured attention of residents, especially some localities have actively built legal baskets to meet demand of workers.

This is a good model and a convenient promulgation channel, helping raise residents’ awareness on legal knowledge and maintain social order.
