Citizen reception and resolution of appeals and denunciation dramatically transformed

On March 9, the inspection team of the Permanent Board of Binh Duong Provincial Vietnamese Fatherland Front Committee, led by Nguyen Huynh Dinh, the Deputy Chair of Binh Duong Provincial Vietnamese Fatherland Front Committee, had a working session with provincial People’s Committee on inspecting the implementation of Law on Citizen Reception, Law on Appeals and Denunciation of provincial People’s Committee in 2015. Receiving and working with the team was Mai Hung Dung, the member of Standing Board of provincial Party Committee cum Deputy Chair of provincial People’s Committee.

In 2015, the citizen reception and resolution of appeals and denunciation of Provincial People’s Committee has dramatically transformed. Provincial People’s Committee and competent agencies have organized citizen reception sessions in line with Law on Citizen Reception. Staffs have been designated to be in charge of receiving initial information from the citizens upon their visits. As for resolution of appeals and denunciation, of 1,017 cases of all-level competence, 983 have been resolved. The recommendation and feedbacks have all been resolved. However, in some cases where Provincial People’s Committee has issued responding documents for final resolution, the public still keeps on appeals and denunciation. Many cases have been resolved but the public failed to agree on the resolution and dragged on to denunciations under the same contents. At the working session, the inspection team has proposed to improve quality of citizen reception and resolution of appeals and denunciation.

Addressing the working session, Mai Hung Dung agreed to the evaluation of the inspection team offering Provincial People’s Committee thorough vision of citizen reception and resolution of appeals and denunciation. Mai Hung Dung stressed that Provincial People’s Committee, for the time to come, will resolve drawbacks and shortcomings to better the mentioned tasks.
