Civil Status Registar to be qualified by law degrees

Under the Civil Status Law 2014 coming into force from and on January 01, 2016, qualifications of Civil Status Registrar have been stated.

For Registar at communal level, qualifications should be junior college and higher with training of courses on civil status. Such candidates should have clear hand-writing and suitable computer skill for their positions.

Registrars at Justice Offices are required to acquire Bachelor of Law and higher and training courses on civil status. Foreign diploma and consulate officers working in field of civil status at representative agencies are required to be trained with civil status profession.
