Conference to collect opinions on draft revised Law on Water Resources held

Early June 13, Nguyen Thi Ngoc Xuan, Deputy Head of provincial National Assembly deputy delegation held a conference to collect opinions on the draft revised Law on Water Resources.

Speaking at the conference, Mrs. Xuan said: “After more than 10 years of implementing the Law on Water Resources, there are a number of shortcomings for change. For example, some regulations still have interference and overlap with other laws that lead to difficulties in implementation or waste of resources for change to ensure consistency…

At the conference, delegates made opinions and analyzed to clarify issues for the draft revised Law on Water Resources, including the scope of regulation; protection for the quality of domestic water sources; regulation and distribution of water resources; effective measures in water use...

Mrs. Xuan also suggested provincial National Assembly Deputy Delegation Office to coordinate with provincial Department of Natural Resources and Environment to synthesize all the opinions and suggestions by the delegates so that the  delegation had more information to research, contribute ideas, completing the draft revised Law on Water Resources at the 5th session of the 15th National Assembly.
