On the afternoon of August 24, provincial People's Committee held a conference to review the 6-month implementation of the project "Developing the application of population data, identification and electronic authentication for national digital transformation in the period of 2022-2025, with a vision to 2030 (briefly called the Project No.06). Reportedly, among 25 essential public services under the Project No.06, provincial Police Agency has implemented 10 out of 11 services. Specifically, provincial Police Department for administrative management on social order has performed all 8 services. Provincial Traffic Police Department has not yet generated dossiers for the service of registration of license plates for motorbikes, the service of collecting fines for handling of administrative violations in the field of road traffic through the video recording device is conducting a test of the video recording system for administrative penalty. Provincial Immigration Department has issued, re-issued, amended and supplemented 12,978 ordinary passports. For departments and sectors, they have also implemented 11 out of 14 types of administrative procedures …
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Minh requested that the propaganda and implementation of essential public services in the Project No.06 should continue being promoted, so that the people could grasp, agree and support the implementation of the project. The project is related to many industries, fields and units, so it is necessary to assign work to ensure the progress and quality of implementation. For provincial Police Agency and Department of Information and Communications, they need to urgently coordinate in reviewing forces, infrastructure, and equipment to complete documents for the procurement of equipment for the project.
