Dau Tieng district to celebrate the 40th liberation day 

Morning March 13^th, Dau Tieng district organized a solemn ceremony to celebrate the 40^th liberation day of Dau Tieng district (March 13^th 1975 - March 13^th 2015). Former Politburo Member cum former President Mr. Nguyen Minh Triet; Party Central Committee’s Member cum provincial Party Committee Secretary, provincial NA’s Delegation Head Mr. Mai The Trung; leadership of provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Vietnamese heroic mothers, veterans, and representatives of agencies, army forces, and so on attended the ceremony.

At the ceremony, Dau Tieng district Party Committee Secretary Mr. Tran Chi Thanh confirmed the significant meaning of the Dau Tieng liberation campaign 40 years ago. The victory of the campaign cut off a vital link, the most critical enemy's defense in northwestern Saigon, then expanded provincial liberation area, contributing largely to the 1975 general offensive, the Ho Chi Minh campaign to reunify the nation. 

40 years after the liberation, under the leadership of provincial Party, the government, and supports from agencies as well as Dau Tieng Rubber Company, the district gradually overcame difficulties and focused on exploiting local potentialities to serve socioeconomic development. In 2014, local economic growth reach 11%, social security was guaranteed. In the future, the district will focus on new rural construction to become the first new rural district of the province.

Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Secretary of provincial Party Standing Committee cum Chairman of People’s Council Mr. Pham Van Canh asserted, Dau Tieng victory was a brilliant successes not only of the past, but also a great motivation to accompany us in the renovation process. On behalf of provincial leaders, Mr. Pham Van Canh appreciated achievements of the district and Dau Tieng Rubber Company. The province will continues to create favorable conditions for the district to develop; and asked sectors, agencies to assist the district in overcoming difficulties, implementing key tasks in 2015 to welcome upcoming Party Congress of all levels as well as the National Congress.
