The road for economic momentum

My Phuoc - Tan Van route has not only opened a strong linkage between Binh Duong province and other provinces, cities in the key southern economic region but also open up opportunities of trade and economic development for local people. 

Unanimous decisions

My Phuoc - Tan Van route is a strategic traffic artery of Binh Duong province, connecting industrials parks with seaports (Thi Vai, Cai Mep), container ports (Dong Nai, Binh Duong and District 9, Ho Chi Minh City), and new international airport (Long Thanh). This route is expected to reduce transportation time by 25% and 30% shipping cost... This was one key project set forward by the 9^th provincial Party Congress tenure 2010-2015, is expected to change the face of provincial socio-economy.

To concretize the Party’s decision in accordant with people’s wish, provincial People's Committee issued Decision "Adjusting the planning of transport development of Binh Duong province until 2020” to specify My Phuoc - Tan Van route as the strategic traffic artery of the province with the start at DT741 road going through TDM City, Thuan An town, Di An town, and the end at Tan Van - Dong Nai bridge. The route length is nearly 30 kilometers, the average speed of vehicles on the route is around 100km/h.

My Phuoc - Tan Van route has opened up opportunities of trade, economic development for the province and people.

Provincial Party Committee, People's Committee has paid much attention to supervising this project construction. Mr. Nguyen Van Minh living lived for decades in Thuan Giao ward, Thuan An town said: “Back then, I read on Binh Duong Newspaper that this would be the key project approved by the 9^th provincial Party Congress. It has been a short period, but this is now the most spacious and cleanest road in the province”. Thanks to this new road, he has got a stable monthly income from building lodging houses, and opening coffee shop.

Previously, Binh Duong Avenue became a lever for economic development. Currently, My Phuoc - Tan Van route is a boost for provincial economy. Therefore, in recent years, under drastic direction and supervision of competent authorities, Becamex IDC has executed promptly and completed many important items to put into use in the first phase (from Dinh Hoa ward, TDM City to An Phu traffic circle, Thuan An town). Currently, the stretch from An Phu to Tan Van is being finished to put into use. 

 New road, new momentum

Along with the new My Phuoc - Tan Van route, the face of nearby localities has changed obviously. Just recently, Dinh Hoa ward was a mound land having many difficulties in socio-economy. Now, this and Binh Duong Avenue constitute a firm “frame” for local socioeconomic development. Dinh Hoa ward Party Committee’s Deputy Secretary cum People’s Council’s Chairman Mr. Duong Thai Khanh said: “the road has created a strong momentum for our ward to build a civilized, modern urban area, creating more jobs for local people. This is a very rational of the 9^th provincial Party Congress”.

Indeed, in wards that My Phuoc - Tan Van go through, such as: Dinh Hoa Hiep Thanh, Phu Loi (TDM City), An Phu Thuan Giao, Binh Chuan (Thuan An town), Tan Binh (Di An town), spillover effects of the road has been clearly reflected through new tiled roofs, new business and services… The urban face is changing each day like life of people living here.

Mr. Tran Van Nam, Deputy Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Chairman of People’s Committee stressed, this was the work of the 9^th provincial Party Congress, thus localities had to finish quickly compensation, clearance, hand over lands to contractors to complete this road, facilitating travelling, transportation, increasing trading.

A correct decision in accordance with people’s wish has received consensus from all people strata. The dream road is forming, existing and bringing the great social economic values to Binh Duong province and neighboring provinces. But that is just the start of a breakthrough in all aspects of the province in the future under the Party’s leadership.
