Dau Tieng marks 41 years of its liberation day

A get-together to mark the 41st anniversary of Dau Tieng’s liberation (Mar.13, 1975-Mar.13, 2016) was held on the morning of Mar.11. Attending the event were Nguyen Minh Triet, former State President; Nguyen Huu Tu, Vice-Secretary of provincial Party Committee together with heroic Vietnamese mothers, officials and soldiers who were used to living and taking part in the struggle against the enemy on Dau Tieng homeland.

At the get-together, delegates together reviewed historical moments 41 years ago as well as the district’s construction and development process since being liberated. They expressed their profound gratitude to heroic Vietnamese mothers, officials, soldiers, martyrs and wounded soldiers’ families, revolutionary contributors for their contributions to the glorious revolutionary cause of Dau Tieng.

Following the local heroic tradition, Dau Tieng district’s Party, government and people have made efforts to surmount difficulties in order to build up a more and more prosperous and beautiful homeland to be worthy of great sacrifice by previous generations.
