Early June 16, Dau Tieng district’s Steering Board of Humanitarian Blood Donation in collaboration with the HCM city-based Cho Ray hospital’s Blood Transfusion and Hematology Center held the 3rd humanitarian blood donation campaign 2016 at the district’s Health Center.
The campaign absorbed 300 volunteers, including officials, civil servants, Red Cross members, Youth Union members, militia, police and locals. As a result, the organizers collected 231 units of blood, equivalent to 80,850 milliliters of blood.
It is known that the Steering Board in the first half of 2016 mobilized officials, civil servants and locals to give 836 units of blood, equivalent to 292,600 milliliters of blood.
