To accompany contestants

The national high school exam 2016 will be arranged into competition clusters in localities. Competition cluster of Binh Duong province will be held at 14 exam locations in TDM City and Thuan An Town. To assist contestants in remote districts, provincial Students’ Union has established assistance teams at exam locations.

Accompanying contestants, volunteer teams of students from provincial universities and colleges are ready to give strength to candidates during the exam season. As expected, there will be 5-10 volunteer students on duty to assist candidates immediately. Volunteer teams will also be present at intersections on main roads and bus stations to guide contestants. Promoting the pioneering role, volunteering spirit for the community, Youth Union’s members, students will guide, assist, help contestants and their families during the national high school exam. These volunteers will show contestants directions, bus routes to exam locations, find exam locations, exam room, assist in exam procedures. Leaflets, manuals on bus routes, inexpensive and hygienic restaurants… will also be delivered to contestants. Since early June, these volunteers have spread out to survey free or low-price lodging houses to introduce to contestants and their families.

Youth Unions in universities and colleges have encouraged individuals and organizations to support meals, drinks, free bus tickets for contestants. According to Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Mai, Chairwoman of provincial Students’ Union, there are a lot of things for volunteer teams to do in this exam season. Youth Unions in districts, towns are reviewing the number of contestants having difficult circumstance to devise specific action plans. TDM City and Thuan An Town Youth Union have mobilized resources to support contestants, like: meals, water, cookies, fans…; established teams to support traffic safety at exam locations; free puncture mending service…

To nurture young intellectuals, the whole society will take care of them during this exam season. Thu Dau Mot University in collaboration with Economics and Law University - National University of Ho Chi Minh City will host the competition cluster in Binh Duong. Thus, Thu Dau Mot University has taken responsibilities for caring for the contestants. With many experiences, the university has organized methodically and specifically exam season supporting programs.

Mr. Le Van Hai, Secretary of Thu Dau Mot University’s Youth Union, said 200 students had registered for the volunteer program. Thu Dau Mot University’s Youth Union will take responsibility for 3 exam locations: Thu Dau Mot University, Vo Minh Duc High School, and Chu Van An Secondary School. The volunteers will offer counseling, help contestants to feel confident during the exam; assist contestants and their families; participate in activities ensuring order and safety at exam locations…

The national high school exam 2016 is coming. With the joint efforts of the whole society, it is expected that the exam would happen safely, conveniently, contestants would have a good mentality to achieve the highest results in the exam.
