Defensive units with enterprises in Bau Bang district established

The Military Command Headquarter of Bau Bang district has just held a ceremony to launch the self-defense unit in the enterprise at Bau Bang Water Supply Branch under Binh Duong Water – Environment – Sewerage Joint Stock Company.

At the ceremony, the district military command announced the decision to establish a self-defense squad consisting of 9 soldiers trained in skills and professions and fully equipped with tools to support the protection and maintenance of order and security in the enterprise.

Up to now, the district militia and self-defense forces have 1,584 people, accounting for 1.8% of the total local population. The establishment of self-defense units in the area will well promote their roles and tasks in advising business leaders to perform military and defense tasks while participating in building all-people national defense and civil defense in association with socio-economic construction and development in the locality.
