Provincial leaders receive Vice-Chairman of the Policy Committee of the National Assembly of Japan

On the afternoon of December 27, Nguyen Van Loi, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Head of provincial National Assembly deputy delegation welcomed Sasaki, Vice-Chairman of the Policy Committee of the National Assembly of Japan. Also receiving the delegation were Vo Van Minh, Chairman of provincial People's Committee and leaders of a number of related departments and agencies.

At the reception, Mr. Loi said that Binh Duong's economy has recovered and developed strongly after the pandemic. In 2022, many development targets reached and exceeded the set plan, especially the activities of attracting domestic and foreign investment achieved impressive results. Those results were greatly contributed by Japanese enterprises. Over the past time, many cultural and sports activities between Binh Duong and Japanese localities and partners were organized, contributing to tightening the cooperative and friendly relationship between the two sides.

He also shared some development orientations of the province in the coming time. Accordingly, Binh Duong together with Ho Chi Minh city, Dong Nai, Ba Ria - Vung Tau will be the development quadrangle in the Southern Key Economic Zone. Resources will be focused on developing the province's infrastructure facilities, especially transport ones. He hoped that Mr. Sasaki will connect Binh Duong with Japanese businesses, experienced partners and financial resources such as Tokyu Group, JICA... to support the province in implementing projects effectively.

Mr. Sasaki was very impressed with the province’s outstanding development as well as strategic orientations in the coming time. For the industrial railway and urban railway project proposed by the province, he will give his best support in connecting the province with JICA so that the two sides come to a consensus on the implementation of the project. He affirmed that he will further connect Binh Duong with Japanese partners to support the province in implementing and speeding up the implementation of infrastructure development projects.
