In 2022, Tan Uyen town’s Party Committee has focused on leading and directing the whole political system, people and businesses to well implement solutions, achieving and exceeding all 25 targets of its executive board’s Resolution. This is a great foundation to be able to fulfill the targets and tasks set out by the Resolution of the town’s Party Congress for the 2020-2025 tenure.

Reaching and exceeding all 25 targets

In 2022, Tan Uyen town’s economy has recovered positively. The town’s industrial production increased by nearly 113%. The town’s value of trade - services increased by more than 23% over the same period last year. The town approved and implemented the local project on building model new-style rural communes for the period of 2021-2025 in association with the pilot construction of a smart village in Bach Dang commune while completing dossiers on the project of establishing Tan Uyen city in Binh Duong province and being appraised and approved by the Ministry of Home Affairs. The town’s culture - society achieved many positive results. The local support for those affected by the Covid-19 pandemic was implemented synchronously and opportunely. The quality of health and education was improved. The town’s grassroots information system well implemented propaganda about the Party and State’s guidelines and policies. The town also paid attention to upgrading cultural-sports institutions and relics. The situation of crimes in the town was under control and reduced. The town also ensured traffic safety, fire and explosion prevention.

The town also paid attention to Party building. In 2022, the town’s entire Party Committee admitted additional 179 Party members, including 20 workers in enterprises, or 116% of the target of the resolution. The town’s Party Standing Board sent 113 officials, civil servants and public employees to training courses. The town’s Party inspection and supervision were also strengthened. The role of the local Fatherland Front and mass organizations was increasingly promoted. The local people united to actively participate in patriotic emulation movements.

Development in depth

In 2023, Tan Uyen town’s Party Standing Committee will further lead the local development in line with the province's general orientation being fast, comprehensive, sustainable development and focus on depth in all fields; seriously and thoughtfully prepare conditions for the quality organization of preliminary work during the 2020-2025 mid-term of the local Party congress; focus on implementing activities to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the establishment of the town.

According to Bui Minh Tri, Secretary of the Tan Uyen town’s Party Committee, the year of 2023 is half the time of the 2020-2025 tenure. Therefore, in the coming time, the town’s Party Committee, authorities and people must be more drastic in order to continue the local socio-economic development and recovery, ensuring the completion of the targets of the Resolution of the town’s Party Committee for the 2020-2025 tenure.

Accordingly, units and localities need to focus on mobilizing resources to be able to invest, prioritizing the development of connected traffic infrastructure for development; set out solutions to solve enterprises’ difficulties; especially quickly complete procedures to turn Tan Uyen Town into a city under Binh Duong province on the right schedule; further invest in socio-economic infrastructure, set up plans and projects to upgrade the town into a second-class city. The town will further carry out programs on the Resolution of the 13th Party Congress; implement the Party Central Committee’s Conclusion No.21-KL/TW, dated October 25, 2021 in association with a plan on studying and following late President Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style with full-course topic, topic in 2023…

Mr.Tri affirmed that the results achieved in 2022 are very important and is a great foundation to be able to fulfill the targets and tasks set forth by the Resolution of the town’s Party Congress for the 2020-2025 tenure. Therefore, all-level authorities, sectors, Fatherland Front and mass organizations of the town will further improve their sense of responsibility, be proactive, creative and fully exploit the local existing advantages and take advantage of new opportunities to successfully complete the set goals and tasks on socio-economic development, national defense-security and build the local political system. In the process of performing the local tasks, the town needs to seriously implement conclusions and directions of the city’s Party Standing Committee, clearly defining key points in each field, organizing the fulfillment of tasks of each level and each sector with specific solutions.
