Di An town gives priorities to hi-quality trade and service development

According to Di An town party committee’s leaders, local economic sectors and people positively involve in trade and service fields. Right operation of trade and service has contributed to local economic structure transfer set out by the local party committee.

Density of trade and service in the locality has reached 24.26%. The entire town has so far had more than 12,600 business facilities of trade and service. Di An has gradually formed and developed hi-quality trade and service fields such as trade center, supermarket, bank, telecommunication…

Di An develops trade-service fields sustainably and modernly.

Di An has upgraded and improved electricity grid and developed nearly 170km of middle, low tension lines and 492km of transformer stations, catering for local residents’ electricity using demand. Di An has launched a 9ha project of sport-culture center in Binh Thang ward, a revolutionary relic area and a 30ha Ho Lang eco-area. In addition, many clinics, schools have been built modernly, meeting local people’s demand on healthcare.

Di An has invested in infrastructure facility for trade-service development. The district now has 312.477km of traffic routes, Binh An port and is 30km away from Tan Son Nhat airport. Other big ports of Phu My, Thi Vai, Vung Tau, HCMC are very near to the town. This facilitates the locality’s trade and service development in the coming time.

Trade-service development is one of key tasks focused by the town party committee and authority and people from now till 2015 and following years. Therefore, the town has perfected infrastructure facilities to cater for local trade-service development.   

To develop service and trade, Di An has cooperated with investors to soon launch projects of Tan Binh Trade Center, Song Thanh trade center, Dong Hoa supermarket, Noi Hoa trade area… to create a breakthrough on trade-service growth. Moreover, the locality aims at reinforcing, maintaining and improving operational quality of cooperatives.

According to some cadres in Di An town, a series of set measures will adjust and add planning on trade-service in conformity with local development. Additionally, the locality will mobilize capital sources to improve and upgrade technical infrastructure facility in a bid to facilitate trade-service development as well as encourage businesses to invest more in the field.

Furthermore, the locality will facilitate businesses’ production and business, especially in areas of education-health, residential area and other services, contributing to minimize environmental pollution and beautify urban image.

Human resources will be an important factor for completion of the measures. If Di An pays attention to human resources, administration reform, environmental protection, sustainable development of trade-service, the locality will surely finish its goals early.
