*“Connection” sub-union for female workers at lodging facilities launched

Early May 29, nearly 1,000 employees working for Tan Nhat Furniture Co.Ltd. in the South Tan Uyen Industrial Park were under medical check-up at the company. This meaningful activity was highly appreciated by all company workers.

Nguyen Van Dung, Chairman of the company's Trade Union said that this is an annual activity of the company. Every year, the company also cooperates with prestigious medical examination and treatment centers in Ho Chi Minh city, bringing good doctors and nurses to the company in order to give medical check-up for workers, thereby partially helping them control diseases and ensure their health.

It is known that during this year's Workers' Month, Tan Nhat Furniture Co., Ltd. has taken care of employees by many practical activities such as visiting and offering gifts to disadvantaged families, organizing sports competitions, art performances to create playgrounds on weekends...The company has also well implemented activities on labor safety and health, fire prevention and fighting. The average income of the company’s employees is VND10 million per person per month.

*On the afternoon of the same day, Ben Cat town’s Women's Union in collaboration with Chanh Phu Hoa ward’s Women's Union, Organizing board of the project "Unifying and gathering young workers" held a ceremony to launch the “Connection” sub-union for female workers at the lodging facilities in quarter 5 with 35 members, led by Nguyen Thi Thu Tham. Besides, the town’s Police Agency shared a special subject on "Fire prevention and control" at the place of residence and work; offered gifts to members and female workers at lodging facilities with difficult circumstances in the quarter.
