Late November 21, Deputy Chair of Provincial People’s Committee, Mr. Huynh Van Nhi and leaders of departments and sectors of the province had a working session with Inspectorate Group of Emulation and Award Board of Central Government on implementing legal regulations of emulation and awards from 2010 to 2011.At the session, Deputy Director of Department of Home Affairs, cum Head of Provincial Emulation and Award Board, Mr. Tran Trong Lam informed that the emulation movement has been promoted across departments and sectors.In two years of 2010-2011, the province has awarded to 706 excellent collectives, 723 emulation soldiers of all-level, 115 emulation flags and 10,409 merit certificates to collectives and individuals who excelled in the assignments.Besides, 320 individuals and collectives are recommended with excellent merit certificates for the cause of socio-economic development while 158 others receive merit certificates of Prime Minister together with 162 medals.Total amounts preserved for emulation and award activities has reached over VND 10 billion.Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Han, Head Inspectorate of Emulation and Award Board of Central Government informed that the emulation and awards have promoted socio-economic development and accomplishment of political duties.Thus, he called upon the promotion of achievements for the time to come.Reported by Minh Duy – Translated by Vi Bao
