In 2009, state-own enterprises and joint-stock companies have contributed over 25% of province’s budget and offered over 100,000 jobs. Leadership of local Party Committee and People’s Committee has helped Party Committee of Enterprise block in arranging and reforming operation in roadmap proposed by the government and provincial authority.

 

Some other state-own enterprises have attracted more investment, accounting for over USD 6 billion from over 800 oversea enterprises and over VND 11,000 from more than 200 domestic companies. Investment is launched for vital project of socio-economic development including My Phuoc industrial parks, VSIP, Southern Tan Uyen, cemetery park, concentrated administrative center, Becamex City Center, Mien Dong (Eastern) International University, Mien Dong (Eastern) International Hospital, and so on. Many other enterprises even reach out to outside the province to invest.

 

The achievements prove that economic sectors of the Party Committee have grown in quality and quantity, contributing to general achievements of Binh Duong province. Along with production, enterprises pay more attention to movements and policies supporting their employees who are assured of average VND 2 million per month per income capita.

 

Besides, the five agencies of Party Committee in charge of State management and Party buildup have been making great efforts to accomplish tasks of administrative reforms attached to anti-corruption and abuse fighting. Quality control ISO 9001:2008 is in place to ensure quality policies making investors more confident in Binh Duong province.
