The province’s export turnover in Q1 2012 reached US$2,419.7mln, a year-on-year increase of 18.5%.

 Most enterprises have signed export contracts and are urgently producing to delivery goods to partners on schedule. For key export products like woodwork, footwear, rubber latex, handicrafts…, some enterprises have also had many orders accounting for 30%-45% of the whole year’s total output for export.

 Also in Q1, woodwork export value achieved US$353.7mln, increasing by 12.4% in comparison with the same period last year and accounting for 14.6% of the province’s total export value.

 Most enterprises in the woodwork sector have signed export contracts till Q3 2012. Among them, Mori Shige Woodwork Co. and Truong Thanh Woodwork Joint Stock Co. have gained 50% and 40% of the number of export contracts in accordance to 2012’s plans, respectively.
