The rapid industrialization in Binh Duong has attracted thousands of employees employed by enterprises. Thus, the taking care of their spiritual and cultural life has been in focus in the sense that more health regeneration more output shall come. So as to boost up such tasks, cooperation of all levels of unions, sectors, and agencies have been in urgent need. To promote effectiveness of factory worker gathering project With overcrowded young factory worker population, the Youth’s League is holding vital role in gathering them up. Thus, the ongoing project of gathering young factory workers in Binh Duong Province from 2011 to 2015 Factory workers of Thong Dung Shoes Co. Ltd. are showing their talents on the stage In the first 6 months of 2013, Provincial Federation of Adolescence has newly established 7 sub-unions of young adolescence living away from their home towns with 185 members. Implementing education and care for young factory workers, various employers have made robust consultancy and proposal to mobilize social forces in constructing and repairing entertainment sites for young factory workers. The federation of adolescence cooperated with Yamaha Motor Vietnam to organize a festival of traffic culture in 2013 across districts and towns in various contents for 1,000 young factory workers. Many practical activities for young factory workers have been organized including festive day of community healthcare, encouraging program for young factory workers in singing contests, supporting funds, etc. The Federation of Adolescence organized various programs including youth radios, female news bulletins , young factory worker manuals, and law library to timely conduct information dissemination to majority of young factory workers regarding laws, employment, socio-economic status, social evil fighting, and playground for factory workers. The federation also coordinated with Binh Duong Newspaper to offer free 10,000 newspapers a week to young factory workers at hostels. Deputy Chair of Provincial Youth’s League, cum Chair of Binh Duong Provincial Federation of Adolescence, Mr. Duong Pham Hong Thang said that the associations within the federation have offered knowledge of laws and social evil fight so that young people would be more aware of their legal rights. Long-term orientation Determining the importance of spiritual and cultural life of factory workers in improving quality of labor force, Provincial Labor Union coordinated with related departments, sectors, and agencies to organize cultural and art performance programs, and sports games, all free to factory workers in industrial parks and clusters. Provincial Labor Union organizes male and female football for its officers and laborers in Binh Duong Province in 2013 Mr. Nguyen Thien Phuoc, Deputy Chair of Provincial Labor Unions said that so as to take care of spiritual and cultural life of factory workers, the future construction of good and healthy working environment with great care for cultural values should be focused on. For the success of such general targets, the construction and refinement of policies and decisions on spiritual and cultural life development for factory workers in industrial parks and clusters should be established. This required 3-facet investment from the province, enterprises, and socialization. Besides, social cultural institutions should be harmoniously constructed to promote movements of civilized and modern family building among factory workers. The roles of political and social unions, enterprises and the factory workers should be especially promoted in the cause of building and developing cultural life for the advancement and equality of the society.
