Along with the local development progress, local sector of environment and natural resources has made greater efforts to effectively implement many measures of environmental protection (EP).

One of its remarkable results is that it often cooperates with localities to boost legal promulgations on EP, raising awareness of businesses and communities.

Besides, the improvement of environmental quality wins many positive changes. Many production-business facilities focus on building environmental projects. To say, the Urban work one-member Ltd and Binh Water Supply Co. borrowed loans from the provincial Fund on Environmental Protection to purchase facilities serving for street hygiene. Besides, Binh Duong Food Production Ltd. also borrowed VND3bil to invest in waste treatment system.

This shows that the State management capacity on EP has been upheld. Therefore, the environmental pollution in the province has been under control, minimizing environmental pollution and depression. Exploiting and using natural resources initially go in order, reducing environmental pollution and ecological unbalance.

However, the work of environmental management in the locality remains limited. The investments in water drainage system are not synchronous and do not catch up with development pace, causing floods. Moreover, climate change impacts on human and economy’s safety.

To boost the efficiency of environmental management, keep launching the movement of ‘For a urban area without garbage’, the province needs this year to spur legal promulgations on EP through modes of announcing black list of environmental violations, holding activities in response to the World Environmental Day and so on.

Furthermore, the local authority should drastically solve environmental pollution, focus on inspections on building waste treatment system at IPs, ensuring completion of waste treatment system across IPs, strengthening solid waste management system, building system of collecting and transporting and treating medical waste and using funds for EP effectively and among others.
