The website www.vitruongsa.org is launched with the aim of mobilizing and calling on the community to contribute to building schools for children on Truong Sa Lon, Song Tu Tay and Sinh Ton islands.

The website was launched on September 24 by the Vu A Dinh Scholarship Fund, Ho Chi Minh City Law Newspaper and VNG Corporation, during the campaign “For beloved Truong Sa students” with the desire to call on the community to contribute 10 billion VND to build a school on Truong Sa Lon island, then the program will continue to build more schools on Song Tu Tay and Sinh Ton islands.

Today there is only a small simple classroom with four blackboards for pupils from grade 1 to grade 5. When studying at grade 6, pupils have to leave their families and the island to go to the mainland to continue their study.

“If there were a school here for children to study, we would feel more secure to live on the island,” former Vice President Truong My Hoa, who is President of the Vu A Dinh Scholarship Fund, remembered what she was told when she met the parents of children on Truong Sa Archipelago.

The "For beloved Truong Sa students” campaign becomes practical and meaningful not only because our contribution brings knowledge for children on Truong Sa Archipelago, but because each contribution also shows solidarity, mutual love and the precious heart of each Vietnamese person towards the people living on the archipelago./.
