An action month for children development equality has been kicked off in Binh Duong Province to show up all-aspect care for children in hardship. Representative of Binh Minh Book Store offers gifts to children of special circumstances to encourage their learning The activities of the same nature have been mushroomed on the end and beginning of academic year. From the scholarship packages to meaningful gifts, dreams of children in difficulty have been fostered. Mr. Nguyen Van Tap, permanent Deputy Chair of Tan Uyen District Learning Promotion Association said: “The care for children is for nation future. Annually, donation is accounted for thousands of scholarship packages to poor children across the districts.” In 2012, the children supporting fund has helped 2,610 children who needed heart and cleft lip surgeries. From the beginning of this year, two more children have been offered heart surgeries at the cost of VND 70 million. The smiles and happiness are restored for the children across the province. In Thuan Giao Ward of Thuan An Town, immigrants have been very crowded leading to a surge of children population. Currently, the Ward has over 60 children in special circumstances. For years, the local authority has made efforts to support those children. Mrs. Nguyen Thi Le Trinh, Director of Children Supporting Fund informed that in 2013, the fund should disburse more money for heart and cleft lip surgeries as part of coordination with Ho Chi Minh City Association of Poor Patient Support and sponsorship of Central Dental Hospital in Ho Chi Minh City.
