Further arousing the spirit of uniting, sharing love

On the afternoon of April 13, provincial Fatherland Front Standing Committee held a conference to review social welfare activities during the Tet (Lunar New Year) festival 2023. The conference was attended by Nguyen Van Loi, member of the Central Committee, Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Head of provincial National Assembly Deputy Delegation; Nguyen Van Loc, member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of provincial Party Committee’s Mass Mobilization Commission, Chairman of provincial Fatherland Front Committee.

Implementing the direction of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Standing Committee and provincial Party Committee, during the Tet festival 2023, provincial Fatherland Front Committee organized and coordinated with relevant units to visit and give gifts for 1,534 disadvantaged people with a total cost of more than VND1.55 billion from provincial “For the Poor"  Fund; donated 27 “great unity” houses worth VND2.72 billion to poor households, near-poor ones, people with extremely difficult circumstances...

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Loi suggested provincial Fatherland Front Committee and specialized agencies to promote propaganda work, arousing the spirit of uniting and sharing love to help those who are need in help to rise up in life. Provincial Fatherland Front Committee needs to coordinate and organize movements and activities in each stage to uphold efficiency and increase resonance; make publicity, transparency, creating trust for donors. He also suggested provincial Fatherland Front Committee and mass organizations to well perform digital transformation and digitization, promptly sharing information for coordination and being proactive to carry out care and support activities, avoiding duplication, not omitting the targeted people.

Provincial People's Committee awarded the certificates of merit to 7 collectives with many contributions in social welfare activities on the occasion of the Tet festival 2023. The Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Foreign Trade of Vietnam (Vietcombank)’s Binh Duong branch presented a symbolic board of VND 600 million to provincial "For the Poor" Fund.
